So I have homework to do to get ready for this afternoon's class. I was being distracted by the internet in the apartment, so I thought I'd walk to campus and get a book from the library for my presentation.
On the way, at the corner in front of the Jimmy Stewart museum I could see a flag waving in the breeze that looked out of place.
When I got down there (waslked out of the way so I could see what was going on) I saw a Revolutionary War soldier decked out. Full coat, pants, hat. I didn't know they had oakley's back then.
He was shouldering a modern American era flag.
Signs around him said they are going to have a Tea Party on the Court House steps on July 3rd here in town.

He spoke. Friendly patriot.  I told him I planned on being in Canada for the Holdiay. I haven't seen Niagra falls yet.

Not trying to start a political post, just thought it was odd that I saw a Rev War Soldier on the walk to campus.
