I put one on my sons bike works great, it bolts to the 2 bolts that hold side stand on. made out of 1 inch tubing with angle iron on top that slides between kick stand bracket and frame.

If you already have a jack adapter and don't feel like attaching it when you lift your bike, save yourself a little money, use two 2 X 4's about 10 inches long. Set the pieces on the flats of your jack, place the jack under the motor with the rear 2 X 4 toward the rear under the motor. It will lift just fine and is stable. The only reason you need a lift adapter of any kind is that without them the flats on the jack will hit the exhaust headers and cause the bike to rock from side to side.

I built a cheapo adapter off of some measurements found on this site.

The best part of the mounted adapter mentined is that it is there when you may need it. I was on the road and the U-joint went out. With that adapter on it made things a whole lot easier and safer. Has paid for itself many times over.
