Hi,

Looking to add a volt meter before 'Maggie' eats her next alternator (last one went at about 80K miles) I'm leaning toward the compact didgital style, but also am not sure just where I'd like to mount it. Would like to see what other folks have done on their Interstates. Comments/opinions are welcome as well...

I don't have a picture.  I mounted a round analog volt meter on my left radiator pod. I used a hole saw to make a hole in the slanted flat panel on the pod. All I need to do is look down to see it. It's also lighted.

Hello mwv_1500,
Don't have a picture to show you, but I put a Koso digital
voltmeter on the handlebar upper . It came with a sticky sided
Velcro patch, and it's in easy view.

I can try and send a pic to you by email.

I installed my battery bug meter on the handlebars (left side) using the included Velcro tape and a small + thin but very strong magnet from a computer hard drive.  I like being able to adjust the position if needed, including being able to hide it, and nothing is attached to the plastics.

I installed a chrome Kuryakyn LED Battery Gauge on the top of the rear brake reservoir cover.
This gauge has red, yellow and green LEDs and sometimes one is flashing.  I did not want that distraction in front of me all the time.   cooldude
