Hey Guys...My first Post.  Glad I found this forum.
I just bought a very clean 1999 Valkyrie....She sat up for a year or so prior to my purchase.

This weekend I removed the carbs, broke them down and cleaned main jets, slow jets, float valves, floats, bowls......everything.  I removed the vent lines to replace them but have run into a problem.

.....I am unsure of the carb numbering but there are open nipples on the chrome intake tubes on both sides...Only two of them had tubes hooked to them.

.....the secondary air supply control valve that is perched in the center of the carb next has a tube running from it into a "T" with tubes running from them.

.....the petcock has a vaccuum fitting to the right of the fuel line......

I CANNOT REMEMBER THE ORDER OF ASSEMBLY....LOL!!!!!!

I know, I know....take notes and pics....I guess I was excited...

I welcome phone calls as well....205-461-3502

Thanks in advance....I am really wanting to ride and right now all she will do is idle for a few seconds with full choke.....

Please Help!!

The vacuum port on the petcock hooks to the #6 vacuum port (back left intake port).

The two lines on the T from the CV hook to the two center cylinder intake vacuum ports.

Right side is #'s 1-3-5  Left side is #'s 2-4-6  (Front to rear)

#3 & 4 have vacuum lines to a T under the carbs and then it runs up to the PAIR valve actuator.

#6 had a vac line to the petcock.

The others have Vacuum caps.

Perfect....I have everything set to factory now.  I now need to buy a rebuild kit for the carbs....Would you guys suggest a DynoJet or just factory main jet, slow jet and float valve?

pull and clean them again. soft copper wire through all ports and jets until everything is spotless! you can get copper wire by stripping a section of multi-strand wire and untwisting the core.
