Not sure if Im the right Chris....but I usually use half a bottle in a full tank (5 oz)

However the last time I put the 5 oz in before I filled up and drove to the gas station with 5 oz in a quarter of a tank.  The gas station is just far enough from home to run out the carbs, so just as I was filling that super charged solution was fully in the carbs.  Then when I left the gas station of course the mixture started getting blended down to the normal concentration.

That really made a change even though I wouldn't probably do it that way again.  LOL

Thanks. I've never paid attention to this stuff before. Kinda expensive stuff. The bottle doesn't say much. I'll try an ounce per gallon and see what happens. With Sea-foam I use a can per tank in the spring and again just before putting up for winter.

Try this. Go to your local airport. Buy 1 gal. aviation fuel. If you want to have fun pour it in after you reach reserve, then ride it to fill up.
Tune-up in a jug. Probably cheaper than that wallet cleaner everybody's buying.
Don't believe it, try it. (and smell it. It even smells fast)

Pretty hard to get av-gas, and then again to be pumping it in a motorcycle.

I'm at the airport just about daily, so getting 100LL isn't a problem. It doesn't deteriorate like mogas so I use it for most storage. However it is more expensive than non-ethanol mogas.
I just started the bike yesterday after sitting all winter and didn't like the way it was running. I just drained/changed the fuel, added the Techron for the heck of it instead of Sea-foam. Within 1/2 mile it was running as it should, so I don't think there was a problem.

When I used to buy my av gas, I just took a gas can. Now I have another source. Before that, the small local airport sponsored my stock car at ten gal. per week. Then I used the stock car engine for my mud bogg racing and they continued the sponsorship. The 468 c.i. race engine now rests on a motor stand having never run on anything other than av gas.

About the only avgas available now is 100LL. [ 100 octane low lead].

In years past there were several available
red- 80 octane no lead [ mainly for continentals], might be still able to get on west coast
blue- 100 octane low lead [ mainly for Lycoming], but, now pretty much for everything
green- 130 octane, pretty much gone and for a long time.

I have a friend who is a pilot for a private freight company and he is required to drain 1 gal. of fuel as pre-flight check before he leaves the airport. Disposes of the first pint or so. The rest gets saved and I dispose of it. Kind of blue, smells good raw or exhausted. Stick your hand in it and pull it out it will chill your skin it evaporates so fast.

Experimented with it by letting it evaporate in a clean, glass baby food jar.  It completely disappeared, no kind of residue, nothing. Leaves carb bowls same way. Good to leave in over winter.

How much you add of any additive is based upon what you are trying to do.

Read the instructions, and change based on those guide lines.

want to store you bike, Seafoam, what, 1oz/gal?

Have a little sputtering in the spring after taking the bike out from storage? Take the 1/2 can I have left over from winter storage, and after I'm down to about reserve, I add the rest of the can to it. Run the bike past reserve (I know I can get 189km to reserve, and over 200km to empty, so 170-200km), then fill the tank with fresh gas.

Usually no more problems.

I also now try to only refuel from Chrevon, so I run with the Techron in the fuel.

If you have a specific problem, bad idle, then 1/2-full can to 1/2 tank of fresh fuel.
