Bumping the original post back up. So many of you never posted your pictures...shame.. Grin

Many of us, especially me.. Grin , sometimes have issues putting names and faces together. So I thought it might help for next time if we posted a picture with our bikes, names and VRCC handles on them. There were so many wonderful folks I met at the Leesburg ride who's name I can't remember to save my life. Maybe it will help some of us...I know it will help me!!

I don't do very well in two dimensions. I tend to spread out. My wife would argue that I spread out in 3-D too! Anyhow, here's the Valk and me last year in Cancun for our wedding anniversary. I'm one of those guys that looks a lot better when I have my wife at my side!

Like most others, no picture of me on my Valk. I could post one of me on the H-D, but then you would not recognize me. Roll Eyes

So, here is one of the Valk, and one of my wife Vivian, and I. She is the better looking one.

Oh, what the heck...

Oh man....that means I'd have to wash the bike, then find someone to take my picture. Rita can't do it, maybe the new neighbor....a young single mother that bought the house next door, she thinks the bike is beautiful. Evil Just joking, I have grandkids older than she is.

How about this one, here's what the 1200 looks like with polished Valkyrie forks and triple trees. Much thanks to my friend Grumpy, a/k/a Bill Gurney, making it possible to sand and polish the forks to this level. Tomorrow I start on tank mounts....and more pictures.

They sure are beefy looking on that bike, now all I need is something to cover the bottom piece. Wish I could find a set of lower fork covers to bolt on.

This is a great idea! Here's a photo of Todd, me and our Phat Lady, a '99 Interstate. We just finished a tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cherohala Skyway, and other than a slight drinking problem, she performed like a champ.

Grumpy, I believe you were the one who asked about our new seat from CJ Seats in Valrico, and now I'm qualified to give a response. Todd was comfortable the entire trip, but after day 5 and appx. 1,200 miles, I was ready to get off the bike. So yes, it is a satisfactory, less expensive alternative to a Russell or Ultimate custom seat. And CJ "Chili Man" did excellent work. Perhaps the best solution for a comfortable passenger is to be allowed to take more frequent breaks to shop while on long trips.  Wink

He drives one, sure wish whazername would let me get a pickem-up truck and get rid of her little Lexus(fat chance).  Wink  Every time I start talking about getting an old 60's or early 70's pickup to do a restomod, she starts saying "drip, drip, drip."  I figured out it means I'm giving her something akin to the Chinese water torture. I wonder.....if I keep at it she'll weaken and finally give in. Again....fat chance.  Grin

I really like the color of your moto and trailer!  They just seem to be made for each other.  Blue has always appealed to me for moto's.  Mine is black but maybe not for long.  Ha
