I was looking at these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tail-Turn-Signals-Light-Clear-HONDA-Shadow-Aero-Deluxe-Ace-750-Sabre-Valkyrie-/230964471951?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AHonda%7CModel%3AValkyrie&hash=item35c68e288f&vxp=mtr

and liked the idea of having a taillight with integrated turn signals. However, I'm not too crazy about the looks of the clear or smoked lenses these kits come with. Anyone familiar with these and know if they'd work with the stock red taillight lens?

I have the one without the turns.....just run/brake.....and with the clear lens.  It's very bright.

Just my humble opinion, but I don't think the yellow turns will show that well with a red lens.

I didn't like the clear lens by itself, but with one of those chrome accent covers, I think it looks pretty good.  I went clear lens on everything as a theme on my bike.

The everything black, chrome, or clear scheme definitely looks great on your bike.  cooldude

Here's my setup, as you can see by the date on the license plate I've had them on a long time. I actually installed them earlier than that year. Everything on the bike is LED except for the headlight and driving lights. These are very bright, as can be attested to by those that have followed me. I've since added red strobes mounted between the bags and rear fender that only come on with the brakes. Now those are even brighter. I've even had a couple cops pull next to me at a light and comment on how bright they are. I laugh about it and tell them....I WILL NOT BE IGNORED when approached from behind. They totally agree.

Brakes on. At night it's even more intense.

I have that same LED array on my 98 Rat Rod Valk.
I paid a lot more for it than $26.99 and it did not come with a clear lens. I bought the smoked lens,....but the clear leans would be much more visable.
