After many years of being harassed by the wife that she wanted us to get a bike and ride; I finally relented. First bike was a Vstar1100 Classic, a great bike to learn on, but not much suspension travel for Momma, and of course Momma must be happy. I didnt fall into the V-twin gotta have group and then we stumbled on a 98 Tourer. It felt good and now we are hooked Flat 6ers. We would like to ride with others here in DFW. Rob & Cindra

Welcome to the crazy family we call the VRCC... you'll learn to love your new ride on a number different levels.

There are many people on this board who are happy to help you with any maintenance questions or issues you might run into.  Enjoy your ride- it's a great bike....

Keep an watchful eye on this forum for upcoming rides and meetings.  The DFW chapter of the Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club has been around for about 15 years or so and is a pretty cohesive group.  There is also a vast store of knowledge in the membership on the upkeep and repair of our Phat Ladies.  So, welcome to the group and I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.

I'm just north of Ft. Worth myself.   Great people here.  Check the message board on meetings and local and even longer rides.  Man, I love this club.
