I have not bought any new bling for my scooter for a long time, so Iam thinking about the rear tail light.  Is there a LED or a brake modulator that can be installed to make that area brighter or flashier?  I think it may be a good idea for others to see that Iam braking too, always thought the stock tail light was a little dim in the visability department.

Thanks-Scooby

The modulator and LED topic has been covered before, do some searchingand you'll find excellent info. I personally use a Kuryakyn unit for both.

nother way to  consider is the Signal Minder which makes your rear turn signals act as running lights and gives yo more visability. It's pretty much plug and play. You may have to make the lenses red (couple light coats of Testor's Transparent Candy Apple Red from the hobby store).
That plus an additional LED brake light will do the trick. Best mounted high, maybe on the sissy bar for better visibility. The added LED does not require a load equalizer. A switch to LED from stock will require a load equalizer.

I had been using a Kisan Tail Blazer ($70) for several years.  It was on my Tourer when I purchased it.  It has a bright halogen bulb that flashes several time as you apply brakes.  I have replaced it with a LED tail/brake light that also flashes in the same manner.  It is from SuperBrightLEDs.  I also use the LED rings within the turn signals that provide running and brake lights.  Add the LED lights on the mud flap and saddle bag side markers and I have six running lights and three brake lights.  There is a lot of options out there.

Another option, an add on feature.  American made by an American inventor.

I am going to get his Photon Blasters for the front.  Done a lot of research on other forums and haven't heard one bad thing.  http://www.lights.skenedesign.com/

I've had the Hyperlites since my bike was new in 1999.  Saw another Valkyrie with them at a VOAi ride-in in Montrose, CO and they really grabbed my attention as I was following him.  Good customer service after the sale too when I had a few LEDs burn out, he sent a free replacement no questions asked...just that I return the defective ones so they can do some testing to find out why they might have failed.

I have the U32 modulating kit...

I mounted mine on the license plate bracket in place of the stock red reflectors....already had holes to run the wiring where the reflector stems ran through the bracket.

Good luck...can't have too much lighting on the back of your bike!!
