I drove my sis and mom up there this weekend, but was disappointed as the leaves have just started changing colors.  So... I asked a ranger when they would be changing, and he told me that probably they would at their peak either this coming weekend or the next.

The CMA rally was this weekend, so that crowd will be gone by then.

It is approximately 3.5 hours from Richardson.  Lots of twisties, and lots of bikes and cars up there looking at the fall colors.  We saw one group of Harleys with 35 bikes in it!!!  Unfotunately, we also saw an ambulance loading up a biker.

Lemondrop: http://www.ozarkmtns.com/foliage/index.asp this is where Sandy and myself have moved to. We have a place 2 miles from the White River access just out of Flippin AR.  The road in this web site is very nice. LOTS of twisties ! ! !   This whole area is made for motorcycles and there are plenty of them on the road every day. Groups of 3 to dozens at a time.
