Just had a Shinko 230 130/90/17 installed on the front replacing an E3. Tire was $80 and install and balance was $26 more. Put new brakes on while the wheel was off and now have it all back together. Haven't taken it out of the garage yet so don't know how well it will handle.  Did have the tire mounted forward and hope it will compliment the smooth ride of the Vredestein Sportrac  on the rear. Plan on a ride tomorrow to see how well this combination gets along..

What direction did you mount your front tire?
How is it holding up.
I only ask because I also have a Trike.

We did the entire Blue Ridge Parkway last month I saw a fellow Valkyrie rider on that ride with a rear Stink-o on the front of his bike... It had a big ass delamination bump hangin' out of the tire.

I have that exact tread pattern on my Shinko, but mine is a Bias ply 150-80-17.
I've got a Falken Sincera radial car tire 205-65-16 on the back.

You'd think this would be a bad combo, but I'm at about 10K miles on both, they track
well together, and lowest price I've ever paid for a pair of tires.

I know, Shinko once had a really bad reputation, but they now have new ownership,
and the quality is Much better.

There will be another Bias ply Shinko going on the front next time around, and I'll
be going for a dedicated 60 series rain tire for the back.

i have a shinko rear tire mounted in reverse direction.
it has been holding up well. and does'nt seem to be cupping as badly as other tires iv'e tried. will i mount another. yes.
got tired of paying 150 or more for a front tire only to have it cup extremely bad within 3000 miles. i always keep my front tire pressure 40 psi to 42 psi.
