Don't waste money on a kit.  It'll run fine with stock jets... just back out the pilots to 2 1/2 turns.  Easy and cheap... including the fact that your gas mileage won't suffer.

If you REALLY want to go up on jets, I would go up 1 size on slow jets, maybe 1 or 2 sizes on high speed jets.  Just remember that you'll lose some gas mileage.

Don't bother with the needle (hence the reason I say not to get a kit)... stock is fine.

I've used these guys... prices aren't the BEST, but shipping is pretty quick.

I'm running cobra's with baffles and stock jets. Very happy and no problems. I did wrap baffles with baffle packing for the mellow tone. Sounds great. cooldude

To quiet mine, I got some Stainless Steel scouring pads from Dollar General store.  Stretch and pull them out.  Wrapped the pads around the baffles and used mechanics wire to hold in place (helical wrap).  That keeps the diameter down allowing the baffle to be inserted.  Its been a few years since I did this but I think it was one pad per pipe.

Extracting the baffles can be difficult from the carbon in the exhaust, spraying carb cleaner into the pipe will fix that.  Years later when my intake vacuum caps leaked it was easy to see which cylinder was backfiring, the scouring pad wrap was bunched up at the end of the baffle.  Changed the all the caps and intake O rings, problem solved.

All my bike needed to run perfect with the Cobras was to go to a K&N air filter.

cooldude  You might want to consider a 4 degree trigger wheel also. After a desmog, pilot jets at 2 1/2 turns and air filter change, my bike still had a little deceleration pop with cobras. However after I put the new trigger wheel in, the deceleration pop was totally gone. The mid-range performance and was significantly improved and the backrap now is wonderful as you gear down.  Evil
