I went ahead and mounted these bates bags up on the bike, as some of you will remember i took these to the painter and he had them for three months and still did not have them done, i brought them home in about half primer. I sanded them and spray painted them with a can for now. I can't paint, some people can but i am just not one of them. So i will run these for the summer and then try to find me another painter this winter. Some had ask to see these bags after they were done, this is as close as i can get for now.

They don't look too bad.
I would try paintforcars.com.
You can get paint and primer kits for around $200-$300.
A $50 hvlp spray gun from harbour freight, and you can paint a ton of parts.
I was amazed how easy it was to get good results.
I would never pay body shop prices. tickedoff

Those are two brothers pipes, i cut the curves off and had adapters made and added car pipe extentions. They sound alot better going striaght out the back.

They follow the flow of the Valkyrie pretty good  cooldude  . I've got a friend with a set of those hangin' in a shed and best I remember they have a chrome rail around them. It's been awhile since I've been at his place next time I'll check and see if he still has them.He told me they came on a ol' 450 four he had.

Joe i would be interested in those, but remember i had to switch sides of the way these bags mounted to keep them close to the bike. You can call me if you find anything out, Thank you. 1-765-309-2232   Floyd.

There is another set of two brothers pipes out west on a Valkyrie that i sold a few yrs ago modified just like this. I had Flatboy where the tank emblems used to be. I always wondered if that bike is still around. And these pipes sound great this way.
