...is gonna have to go. For whatever reason it has started to hurt my ass. More specifically, the coccyx area. I've ridden with it for the past two seasons and it's always been a comfy seat. Why now? No idea. But it sucks because I like the narrowness and it looks tits.

I'm considering either another Corbin solo saddle but without studs and piping OR an Ultimate Low Rider. Does anyone have a pic of the Ultimate installed without the passenger pad? I'm curious to see how it looks.

That is a great looking seat.  What about having the foam modified  or  replaced?

If you liked the narrowness of the Corbin, you might not like the width of the Ultimate.  The Ultimates are very wide seats.

I've had a corbin on my Interstate for about 8 years and it is so comfortable I can put 13 hours in the saddle and never think about my butt.    I got the leather, worried that I would get wet in the rain and overnight with the dew and it's not that way at all.   It will get a little damp but will dry out quickly.   I just wipe it off in the AM and ride.   On really hot days I stay dry.  I was reluctant at first , but it didn't take long to start love'in  this saddle.    I don't know what the stinger model is, but most saddles that are comfortable in the long haul are a little wider.

FWIW I have my Mustang seat on CL locally and as soon as it sells I'll order the Corbin Classic Solo.

Is it possible that the problem is on your end?  Maybe you injured yourself or you're getting older?
Just a thought.

Right now in addition to the Stinger I have the Classic setup, all three pieces and the slip-in backrest. The pilot saddle is quite comfy for me. The only reason I'm selling them (along with a matching set of American Eagle Leatherworks bags and mounts) is that with the conchos, red piping and red studs it's all a bit much. I'm looking for plain black material. Maybe I should just get a plain Classic saddle since I know my ass likes it.

I've been thinking about that actually, it could be the chairs at work. They kinda suck and I doubt they're helping. But the Stinger is very, very hard foam. Probably a combo of the two.

Anyway, I picked up an OEM seat set on ebay for short money. Gonna try that for a little bit. I haven't decided whether to sell the Stinger yet (it just looks so awesome!) but I have put the Corbin seat and American Eagle bags on ebay. They will finance my next seat purchase should I decide to make one. I'm even considering picking up another stock pan and trying a custom foam pattern and materials.

I hope you don't think I was being an a$$ by pointing out your end problem. I was just trying to crack a joke.  I didn't mean to make you the butt of the joke.
As far as getting older I've lost my a$$ a long time ago. No natural padding there.
BTW I have a Corbin seat. It takes a while to form to your butt before you're comfortable.

No, it's all good Wink

I'd sure some of it is me. I have no ass to begin and the difference this year is that I'm at my desk more and I don't think these crappy chairs are helping.
