For the price of the cams way back in 98 when I did mine it was not worth the hassle. I ported and relieved the heads and gained more than the cams.
The cams came out about 6 months after I put them in, and a couple of months ago I used them for paper weights at the shop. I think I got them from Lamont, one of our founding members, and I don't remember where he got them.
Viking came along later with a set of cams to go with their heads, but they went out of business.
If you want speed, go with forged pistons and add a blower. The blower is still available.......
Remember, the more you stress up the engine, the harder it is on the drive line. Rear-ends get expensive. Don't ask how I know this.......
