Just a great big thank you note for this site and everyone on it.  I've seen some other motorcycle owners sites, and they are Yugos compared to this Cadillac.  I've used this site continually for info on lots of maintenance and modification projects.

- Just the info I found here about buying the $260 Goldwing alternator and rotating the top instead of buying the identical $500 Valkyrie alternator was priceless (actually, it was worth $240).

- Tire and Darkside info, including the nutcage mod.

- Desmogging.

- Modifying the Corbin classic seat to work with an Interstate tank swap.  I might have just gone looking for a new seat, but "Here's all you need to do....".

- Timing info, Dyna3000, trigger wheel.

- Headlight bulb replacement options.

Getting info and advice from people who have already been there and done that is golden.  I guess it just makes sense that the best motorcycle has the best owners group.

and this will die off shortly, as the knuckleheads at Honda, have no plans to reintroduce the VALK.  With the worldwide love of this bike, one would think they would "get it", but sadly this site will die off as the riders find another bike from a more visionary M/C mfg.  I currently will reluctantly leave as Honda offers no real choice

I can only hope that the F6B model means they are starting to get it, although it's only a start.  Use the Goldwing drivetrain in a more "standard" motorcycle configuration, not a George Jetson plasti-bike.  I'll keep my Valks.  The only way I'll think of getting another bike is if Honda comes out with a Valkyrie (not a Rune type) with a flat 8.

Everybody talks about an 1800 valk but I always dreamed they would make a 2000 cc flat 8 !
