Some of you may know that Danny Monts (WDAN) was talking to us about upcoming heart surgery at the last meeting in the Stockyards.  Seems he had a leaking valve.  He just texted me with a report:

"To let you guys know, I came through open heart surgery fine.  I had a leaking mitral valve repaired.  Maze procedure to fix atrial fibrillation and had a cath day before surgery and found out I needed a quadruple bypass so they had to split sternum.  Had best surgeon in DFW and all was successful.  I am currently in Ethicus Hospital in Grapevine, a long term rehab facility, in first week of rehab.  Should be back independent ina couple of weeks.  Surgery was May 30.  I should be coming back with more endurance and feeling better than in years.  I hope to make the Fredricksburg trip.  Danny (WDAN) Monts"

Prayers to WDAN on a quick recovery and that he has "Stabil"ed his Valk.

Glad everything worked out for ya Dan,

Do the re-hab like they say, and you will have those wide white walls rolling soon.

Thanks to all for your support and kind words. Thanks RM for posting for me.
I put some Seafamr (rest of my can (maybe 4 oz). I will try and start on stand when I get home. I hope to resume riding by 1st of August.
Do I need to add something else?

Great to see you posting, Danny!

Depending on the condition of your battery, a battery tender might save a recharging chore before you go riding again.

Or, I'm sure you could coax someone here into taking your bike around the block to keep it in shape!   Evil
