Thanks for hosting a great meeting Hal and Linda.  The lunch was 3000 calories good and the company was great.  The biggest thanks ever for getting Ron's forks back on so I didn't have to take him home!  Here are a few photos for everyone to browse through to make you jealous or just want to attend the next one.  It's funny how I expect these things to be 2 or 3 people then everyone shows up.

My goodness, I didn't see this thread till just now.

First, I have to thank Hal 47 for all his help.   You da Man Hal.   cooldude  I didn't know all those folks even knew about this and folks just kept showing up.   I thought there would be just a couple of folks that wanted to watch and learn while Harold lernt me how to change fork seals.
Then all of a sudden others started showing up and pitching in.

What a wonderful group of people.  Ya meet the nicest folks on a Honda.  I also didn't expect Linda (Hal's better half) to put on such a spread of food.   Told Hal I wanted to take him out for lunch.   Man did I get surprised.   What a meal!!!!   Hal, if you ain't figured it out, she's a keeper.

To rainman, regis, Tim and all the others that showed up and did or offered to help out, thanks a bunch.   It was a great time and I learned something.   Saw some friends I hadn't seen in a long time and met some new ones.   All great folks.

Regis, I'm glad you rode my Valkyrie, honestly.   It good to hear someone else verify what I thought I knew about my Valkyrie.   Glad you  enjoyed it.

Tim, thanks for documenting the event.   It was fun and I'm happy to share the wind and roads with you anytime.

Dennis, that little known road you took me on going up there was fun.   Have to keep that in mind for my August event.  Thanks to all.

I don't have a clue as to why you didn't know, seemed to me most of Indiana showed up on Valkyries.  Cheesy   Was a good time.

You should have been there when I returned from the initial test ride.   Hal told me to test the front forks out using the front brakes.   Easy at first, gradually applying them harder in order to get those front forks to exercise their full length.   Upon returning, I intentionally hit the front brakes hard, hard enough to lock it up.  I don't think I've ever seen Hal jump, move that fast or jump that high.   Left a black tire mark about three feet long on his asphalt with the front tire.

Hal will be more careful the next time he tells me to do something, he says.  Wink   Really was a good time, you shoulda been there.  Cheesy

Slaps Forehead!   Wow, what a dumb move on my part.   uglystupid2  Talk about a missed opportunity.   I had the perfect opportunity to change my oil while there with easy access to the oil filter and didn't do it.   What was I thinking.   Oh well, maybe next time.  Wink
