For me, I actually didn’t even buy it!  I was at a friends house and it was garbage day, the neighbor across the street wheeled out a cycle jack to throw away ‘cause the hydraulic cylinder had gotten rusty (he left it out in the rail).  Of course being the scavenger that I am, I asked him if I could have it, he said “it’s junk now…”  so I took it home, cleaned off the rust with some mineral oil and fine steel wool pad, bought a chunk of 1” square tubing and made me a bracket for my new cycle jack!  That thing has to be the best tool to have!  Talk about making it easy to detail the bike!  Of course I only use it for detailing, it’s a Honda, who needs to work on it?

If someone told me you can only have one after-market accessorie on your Valkyrie ...No Doubt it would be " Baker Air Wings " ... Folks that don't have them don't have a clue how much better the ride would be by just adding the Baker Air Wings.I ride year around and they are a must on my three Valkyrie's.

Dyna 3000 equally with J&M CB intergrated with Zumo 550/xm radio/radar detector/BlueTooth Phone.  Then the Baker Air Wings and fork and hand deflectors.  I also like the comfort of the Utopia Backrest, AirHawk seat cushion, Cobra Swept Boards/Rattlebars peg relocation with kick shifter and Hwy pegs.  To tell the truth I can't think of anything about The Valkyrie and the add ons that I don't like.  Also the Breakaway throttle lock works well.

If I could afford to drop the 4K on one I think it would be a Magna SuperCharger.  But since I still have kids on the payroll and can't afford the SuperCharger...it would have to be the saddle upgrades (Mustang and Ultimate).

Its a tie between the air wings and the drivers back rest.  Both made my comfort level a 10.

depends on what day you ask me. On a normal day, the seat/hiway pegs. On a rainy day, the
shorter windshield so I can see...

They seem to wear out faster than anything else on this bike. So the best accessory my bike gets is tires. After that we just keep rolling.

It's a toss up between good highway pegs ( my scooter came with cheapos) and my Zumo 550. Long trips would be tough without highway pegs to stretch out on and vary my position. The Zumo is awesome, negotiating traffic is safer and less stressful when you know where you are going. Finding gas, food or lodging is easy now. It is also functions as an MP3 player. Being able to plug it into the PC to see (what road that was?) is great too. And it is, indeed completely waterproof. It works great in the “ol lady’s” cage too.

I guess the Zumo is number one for me and the highway pegs are a close 2'nd.

I agree with the Ultimate Big Boy Seat and Backrest.  When my butt is happy, I am happy...when it ain't - well you get the picture!  Smiley

Plus, it's nice to be able to walk unlike John Wayne after a long day in the saddle.

As I'm pretty tall so fitting on this bike has been my challenge.  I couldn't live without the combination of all of the following:
1) Peg relocation kit
2) Ultimate King Boy
3) Kuryakyn 4050 highway pegs
4) taller handlebars

After those, I would have to give props to my Willie and Max mechanics throwover saddlebags.  Second bike these bags have been on.  Still function and look great!
