Has anyone out there played with the carb diaphragm. I was inspecting my needles and noticed diaphragm wet on the outer cup side of the diaphragm. Is this common, I tried to find something in my crap manual but nothing.

I would not infer from that, that there is a leak with the diaphragm.  When you close the throttle the slide lowers in the carburetor body and takes whatever air it needs to allow it to lower.  Moisture, gasoline whatever, it's going to condense and leave some residual drops.

I would think the buildup will never be bad since a full throttle setting will remove any "over excess" as the carburetor seeks a happy medium.

It is only a slight damp amount. I just didn't recall seeing it when I installed the needles back when. Of course I wasn't looking for it.

If it´s only 1 carb, why are the others dry. And, if it´s water from the outside, why doesn´t it dry up. The carbs get warm, when the bike is running. I would inspect the diaphragm, maybe, there´s a small hole in it?

Then, i would believe, it´s normal, like Ricky-D wrote. Maybe you can check, if it´s water or gas?

That is all I needed to know.  Valks, when driving and holding the throttle steady have a hum sound to it, when I am holding steady it is not a miss sound but like a flutter. So I am trying to figure out what it is. Bike runs OK no popping, but the sound is off.  I am waiting for my other Carbtune to come in and I will check the sync again. I thank you all for your help.
