Bike is running perfectly, but every time I turn around I am going on reserve and looking for a gas station...?????????

Not sure if there is a question in there.  How about heavy throttle hand? How many miles are you getting before reserve?

When on reserve and you fill it up, how many gallon do you put in?

If that Bumble Bee is your bike it should get around 30 to 36 MPG.

How many miles do you get from 1 fill up to the next one?

Your question is pretty vague.

Coming home from Sturgis one year I was filling up every time I passed a bunch of Harley's.   I got a whopping 23.5 MPG on that trip home.

We were running right at $1.15 on the average.   At that speed those 6 carbs sure do like the gas.

Every time I run that fast I see a CHP along the side of the road.  They rotate the CHP so much around here that it is hard to get any time with them on spill clean-ups so they can get to know me.  Although I did have one apologize to me after seeing my IAFF-retired sticker.  police

Yeah, I need to find a hack so she can ride with me....  and maybe an Interstate to connect it to.

I was going to figure out a way to easily take off the bag lid and hog-tie the hound in it, but, yours looks to be a little too big to fit in one !  Grin

Good looking bike, Pancho  Smiley I've had my Valk for only about a month now, and while parked at a Timmy's having coffee some guys were around admiring and commenting on my 'fat lady'. One of 'em remarks "... bet it doesn't get very good mileage with that six, though ..."
I couldn't help but laugh and replied "Hell when I was looking around for the perfect bike to spend hours upon hours cruising around on, mileage was the last thing on my mind. The day I get worried about gas mileage, I'll turn in my dignity altogether and go out and get a Smart car."

At least these things run just fine with the 87 octane and seldom need wrenching

Still need a few things,,, Valkyrie bags and rails, bee decals for the sidecovers (I'll post a picture when they get in) ,, grab rail,,, additional lighting......   but it's time to ride now..

Amen to that Mildew.... coming off a modified shovelhead, I am still surprised that I rarely have to do anything to this bike,,,,, I do stuff just to do it..  and never any oil on anything!!!

Welcome to the world Finz.

"Coming home from Sturgis one year I was filling up every time I passed a bunch of Harley's."     HA  that's funny R J,, I may need to use it sometime when talking to the Harley boys.
