6/30 Back from the National Cycle Museum an JP Cycles in Iowa. The following is vital to your trip wheather on your way or while at Inzane.                1. Mt. Hosmer at Lansing Iowa is closed and will be closed because the road is shifting going to the top.                2. The car Ferry crossing the Mississippi at Cassville Wi. is not operating and may not be operating due to the river being so high. It has only been operating 2-3 weeks this year. So south of LaCrosse you'll have to cross at Dubuque or Prairie Du Chein.               3. Hwy 35 north of Prairie Du Chein 3 1/2m is closed for a 9m stretch but has a minor detour through the hills. This is due to up rooted trees, rock and mud slides,  and the road collasped in 2 areas.  No rain this week so a little faith i believe it will be opened by the end of this week. I learned if you get caught on it while closed will cost you about $175.00.           4. In Wi. south of Prairie DuChein/north of Cassville there is a road between Bagley and Glen Haven called Dugway Rd. It runs right next to the river, avoid it at all costs, do not 2nd guess me. It took my friend with a Ultra and me a long time to go 3 1/2m at 15mph tops sat evening. Only seen one truck and he came up on us slow i think only because he seen our lights, and we actually had to stop so he could pass. WE never knew if weed have to try to turn around, we just kept pushing onward, we even had to run under a bolder at one point. It was just a small lane all the way with a steep hill on one side an down into the muddy Mississippi on the other.                                     Please do not post here, I will update if there are any changes after the 9th. I will be arriving to Inzane on Mon and will post notice where we sign in and also on the board also.

UPDATE--- MT. Hosmer will remain closed as core samples have to be taken before any repair can be done & they are waiting for machinery to come in to take the core samples+ City streets need repair 1st.            The hwy35 9mile stretch that was closed north of Paririe Du Chien  I heard as a rumor that it was open but The Highway Dept. says it will be closed yet for road repair, there is approx. a 16m bypass through the hills.           Ok last is The Cassvile Car Ferry, Pray it will open as that is such a nice run to go down the river on one side an jump across the river and come back up the other side., As of today the river is still to high & the Ferry will not run before the 14th.. I will stay in close contact with the people in Cassvllle, you will have to look for a posting each day at Inzane where we sign in.

hot flash you people must have been praying a lot. The Cassville Car Ferry is in operation operating from 9 to 9 the last one from the Wisconsin side at night is 820 and from the Iowa side it is 840 the cost is $8 to  cross over the Mississippi River. please try to have the correct change. This will make one heck of a nice trip for  people, having this car ferry in operation.
