I de-smoged years ago, but i have the tank off right now and am noticing that I did not get rid of the crap crankcase filter and box that in runs to. What size filter is that and where do i get one?
God bless y'all real good!

if you are looking to replace that OEM breather filter with a small chrome one:
i used a K&N 62-1360 with a 3/4" connection, it plugs just right over that tube where the rubber hose used to be.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Do you have a California spec Valkyrie?

No not California spec... Just a normal 1999 Standard Valkyrie. There's a black drain that comes out of the bottom of air box. It feeds into a black box behind the ignition and a 3/4" hose comes up from the transmission into the same box. Then out of there to the bottom of bike. it's capped and when you drain it a few times a year... nasty gunk drains out.
thanks for the info about the K&N.

I dont run a filter after removing that separator, just a u shaped rubber hose. It runs to just about a inch down between the engine and trans. I didn't have much luck with the filter you want to use, not to mention I could smell the crankcase fumes at times. So by having it where I put it stuck at a light you dont smell anything.
