I'm still designing my own statue of myself. I like the idea of creating a useable space like a patio or a concert pavillion under my statue, but I don't think that is quite the look that I'm looking for.

I think my statue of myself will be more in line with the statue of Tesla that I saw recently. Me pouring over a tome.

Mine might need to be a bit bigger to make it stand out. Perhaps they'll put a memorial garden around the statue to further honor me. That'd be fine too.

This is hardly the image that comes to mind when I think of Texas.  I know nothing about Pilgram Chickens here in Tennessee, however I will go out on a limb and guess that the "Chicken Empire" was not founded by this moron...no doubt "daddy" is behind the scene somehow, someway!  What a dweeb....

John, wouldn't you need a pitcher and basin for that?

Willow,
Had I pored over the tome it would have required less gushing, but sometimes I'm moved by what I read and I pour over it...

FYI:
The Tesla momument is in Niagara Falls, NY in the state park. It is near horseshoe falls to commemorate the use of his theories and technology in building the power plants that lit Buffalo. Just thought I'd point that out for you Tesla fans that are emailing asking where I found him.

our local chicken guy has a ton of tv spots too to let us know his chickens are healthy chickens...

I'm not aware of him putting up a statue of himself yet.
But for you puppet loving chicken fans they did have a series of tv spots with puppet chickens:

Not sure how nutty Bo is but he is very influencial around those parts,,, Pittsburg and Mount Pleasant. He has his own banks there also.

Bo Pilgrim and some of his upper management took my Nephew and a couple of his employees from Trail Master Trailors of Cookville TX. just outside of Mount Pleasant between Omaha and Mount Pleasant,,,, out to West Texas a couple of years ago to do some bird hunting,, and try to convince my nephew to run for Mayor of Mount Pleasant with the idea of getting him pushed into Mr. Perry's office of Govenor within the next couple of elections. This would have made my nephew the youngest Govenor in Texas history.   Bo is willing to spend money for fun if he likes you or is trying to control you.   That head is freaking HUGE and that is just another part of the statue not a real person sitting there under his hat. and yes they now have the main offices on one side of the road I tried to get a job there for IT services but never heard from them. One of my fathers so called church buddies were supposed to be able to get me on there since he was in charge of the hiring but since I did not share thier relligious beliefs he just blew me off,,, I really wanted to force my wife to leave California and movethere a Job would have been the nail in the coffin for us since I was out of work at that time and we got close to loosing our house.  SO sorry ran off in that tangent,, I will try to not let that happen again.  There are chicken houses all over the damn place in that area, almost bought a place with 12 chicken houses on it, just could not convince wife....
