Here is a Colorado weather advisory from a local perspective. I ride in the mountains virtually every week end. Be prepared is good advise. Cold, wet, or hot, anything is possible, every day. As the saying goes in the mountains; If you don't like the weather, wait a minute. The montains have a way of cooking up their own weather. Most every morning will be gorgeous with clouds building in the afternoon. The occasional thunder storm every after noon and nice cool evenings.
Any Colorado rider will tell you the storms, although scattered, will be intense. This year has been unusually "wet" and rain gear has been a must. On the upside, riding in the rain for a few minutes and then drying out in a few minutes later will just remind you that you are alive and having more fun than the other travelers in their SUV's. Generally low humidity is a blessing, and even a drenched rider will dry out quickly(crotch not included unless you ride "differently").

If you look to to explore the mountain tops (Mt Evans or Trail Ridge road) you might find some snow in one of the afternoon storms. Again, that good to be alive thing. Pack some extra layers.
Now for the tricky bit....My 22nd anniversary is July 25. Still trying to find a safe path to visit you all at Inzane and stay married.
