Anyone have any feedback on the Michelin Commander 2 tires? Also in that tire on front the closest size is 140/75/17.would this be an acceptable alternate size?

Dern...the front is cheap for a radial- $136.99

One of the independent cycle gear and shop guys here in Virginia said he has sold a lot of them and has had nothing but great reviews.  Not sure any Valk riders were among those...I am still running fairly new Metz which I love.

I have not tried the Michelin on my Valk but have a little over 6k miles on the Commander ll on the rear on my Goldwing. It is just a tad bit taller than stock, 180/65/16 vs. 180/60/16 but that is just right to correct the odometer. Seems to hold the road just as well as the stock radial and is wearing very little. I expect to beat the mileage over the stock tire, only 13k  on the stock and I keep the air pressure at 41 which is recommended. I will not run this tire on the rear of the Valk because I do not want to go down in size, I also have a Dunlop Taxi tire on hand for my next rear on the Valk.
