I managed to score a nice clean set of Hondaline lower fork deflectors but I am running into a mounting issue.  It looks like the fork deflectors and the lower windshield mounts share the same mounting holes.  But the lower windshield mount has pressed in mounting bolts.

My questions:
1. should the defector come with a new lower windshield mount or;
2. do I somehow removed the pressed in bolts (they are very snug) on the lower windshield mount that came with the shield?

If anyone has the installation instructions for the Hondaline lower fork defectors and can provide me a copy, that would be greatly appreciated.
