As pastor of Heritage Baptist Church I would like to invite you to our 18th Anniversary of the church on Friend Day. Sunday, September 8th. The men are roasting a couple of large hogs with all of the trimmings and a lot of great desserts. We will be eating under the tent, horse rides, and games for everyone. It all starts @ 9:45 am with a bluegrass concert by the Higginbotham Family, 10:45am worship service and picnic and games at noon. You all are invited and welcome to come as you are. I would love to see a parking lot full of Valkyries!!!!  |

We are located on the corner of 135th Street W. and 13th Street N.
in "beautiful" West Wichita.
•From Kellogg (54 Highway) and 135th turn North for 3 miles
•From 21st Street and 135th turn South for 1 mile
•From 13th Street and 119th turn West for 1 mile

A challenge has been made from a couple of young men in our church said that they can out run a horse in a 15 yard sprint. Should be interesting ... Don't want to miss this one!!! Have any other takers????

I am betting on the guys at 10 yrds but 12 yrds NOT SO SURE!!! BTW the bulegrass family can't make it BUT Dr Gene Howard AKA: John Wayne will be with us at 10:30am Sunday moring. He looks, talks, walks like the DUKE himself. He is at big demand for what he does...he willbe speaking that morning @ 10:45am. Don't forget the free meal and games after the sevice!!!!
