This post is for anyone in the DFW area who would like to join me on this ride.

I'm riding down to meet with Flamingo Babe and others at Orsak's for breakfast this Sunday morning.  It's a 4 hour trip and plan to be there around 9:00-9:15am for breakfast.

If anyone from DFW wants to ride with me, I'll be leaving around 4:45am from home.  I'll stop in Hillsboro at the Mobil station on the frontage road at exit 368A (Whitney/Corsicana 22 exit) at 5:45am for about 10 minutes.  (This stop is not necessary for me but it is a good place to meet anyone coming from the 35E side of the metro area.)  The route is not fancy nor particularly interesting - down 35 to Waco, Hwy 6 to St Hwy 77, stop in Cameron for gas and stretching, to LaGrange and then 71/159 to Fayetteville.  I just need to ride somewhere - been cooped up in our Honda Fit for the last 2 weeks!!!

This is the way I'm planning to go.  http://goo.gl/maps/ExIGr

Options open on return trip.  I may head to Austin to visit my son Andy.  I might go to San Antonio.  I may ride like a bat from hell back home. I might join the circus. Just don't know yet.

I do not consider myself a ride leader for this trip - just an FYI for anyone who would like to ride along with me. Further, I may cancel at anytime if my kitchen pass is pulled.  I'll post a cancellation by late Saturday night if I must, but all indicators are green at this time.

Would love to go, but don't think we'll be getting up at 3am for breakfast and have a super hot ride back.

I agree with all your comments but I'm going anyway. Will stop and soak the mesh jacket down frequently to stay a little cooler coming back.
