After a screaming, throbbing, clunking experience a few days ago in Ca., I was lucky enough to be riding with N.M. Gary who had the '97 bearings with him. It's payback time for my friend and here's the prices I found. Question: is $51 over priced or is that just the cost of doing bidness? Thanks, and, HOWDY everyone in tech land! Don't get over here much. Cool

Mike, look up a bearing supply business in "Feenix."  You can almost always beat a Honda house in price. I get the double row bearing locally from Miller Bearing in Orlando, always go for the better quality and still get them cheaper than any from Honda.

Honda bearings are "First Tier" quality, just make sure you request first tier from a bearing supplier. (apples and apples, not oranges)

All Balls are Chinese.

Mikey: Call Bearing Belt & Chain in Phoenix. They have good prices. That's where I and D&D buy bearings.

It's "THOSE" puppies.....former newspaper guy.   Evil

Just had to yank that chain old friend, glad you got it fixed OK while on the road and didn't need a new final drive. I know in your email you indicated that possibility, I was hoping it wasn't needed. As for me....just enjoying life to the fullest, beats the heck out of the alternative.  cooldude
