Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

There is so much to hate when you consider the amount of dues we pay and everything.  tickedoff

I mean, a few years ago, I met this guy from Lake Charles, Louisiana when everyone was going over to Hotglue's Gathering of the Fools.  I couldn't make it because I had early throat cancer (that I didn't know at that time) and couldn't talk - I was afraid it was a virus and didn't want to give it to everyone at Hotglues.  I have said many times that I went in for my first surgery ever and the first guy to call me was this Valk pilot that I had met one time - even before family.

Well, we just kind of hit it off.....The next thing you know over the years, he is one of the best mechanics I have ever met and he works on my bike and we talk and get to know each other.

Then we ride over to a couple of rallies and we talk and get to know each other.

Then we start planning a trip or two and we talk and get to know each other.

Then we just start calling each other and we talk and get to know each other.

Then we become riding buddies which gives us a lot of time to talk and get to know each other.

We were talking tonight and we said, "You know, we sure have seen a lot of this great country of ours together."

Man, you gotta hate a club that you can meet someone that you have nothing in common with, from completely different backgrounds, different riding styles....everything....that you love sharing a mile and a smile with........

Did this club change my life in any way?  Well, shared a mile or two with one of it's members and not a bad one in there anywhere!!!!  Like he says, when we are not fighting, we get along great!!!!

You gotta just hate this club......

Sure has made for some memories......

States I have shared time with Hard6 in.....(we have seen other states, but these are the ones we shared together at one time or another).

Neither of our wives ride, so we got to share a lot together.....many a mile and MANY A SMILE!!!!!!!!!!  cooldude  I know that so many of us have shared the same with another member - you just gotta hate it.  It sure has been some good times over the last couple of years brother!!!!  I am glad that I was able to meet a brother here and share some miles and smiles....all good ones bro!!!! "What a long, strange trip it's been."

I hear ya Warren!

Seems that Kim & I are spending more & more of our free time with our "Valkyrie friends". Even without our Valks in attendence.

I guess you really do "meet the nicest people on a Honda! " cooldude

So true Warren...

Ya just gotta hate the fact that, ya don't see most of the folks in this club but maybe once, twice a year...  But when ya finally get to be together, it's like ya were just together last week.

Hand shakes, that get turned in to bear hugs, laughter that never ends, and a deep understanding of one another, that sometimes is spoken without words.

Yep, ya gotta hate this club  cooldude

Hey Strider, I know exactly what you are talking about and I have some advise for you and every VRCC brother and sister. Cherish every mile you ride together, never take your riding buddy for granted. I had that kind of riding partner you describe with Old Skool Steve. I miss him terribly. When you ride with someone for 10's of thousands of miles you really get to know each other, you know what they'll do when riding and even when you are not riding. You never realize what they mean to you untill they are gone   Cry    Cry          I miss ya bud !!

Heck, my daughter owes her very existence to the VRCC...

...seriously...

I kept putting off having kids... I wasn't ready yet, we weren't financially stable enough, whatever...

Then in the fall of 2001 LaMonster made a post with pics and vids of him teaching his boys how to ride dirt bikes...

That got me to thinking about how old I was, (late 20's) and how if I wanted to still be young enough to do such things with any kids of my own when they were at that age, it was time to get busy...

My daughter was born September 23rd of 2002... And it's all because of the VRCC!

Ladies!!!.... cooldude.....and that WAS a REAL shot.....heck, it was HIS idea on the spur of the moment, but when you are in a room of over 400 VRCC's at the Main Inzane dinner, there's BOUND to be somebody with cameras ready to catch a person in the act!!..... Grin....Seriously Strider, you are VERY lucky to count a guy like JP as a Friend....I just wish he lived closer to me so that he could do my heavy mechanicing!!

I prefer "Moonshine" even though I don't drink..... cooldude

I'm all about the Ladies!!!....look at these two beauties...they don't come much better than that!!
