Looking for those chrome brackets to mount the passenger pegs on. Right now I have some black cylinder looking brackets now that keep coming loose. Any info of where to find some of these would be great.

The mounts in the auction are a Hondaline accessory which was offered for the I/S. Note the long peg extension - which is non-removable.

If you don't get those, keep your eyes open for a set of I/S-specific painted mounts and have them chromed. As others have pointed out, blue Loctite will fix the bolt loosening problem.

Once upon a time a company known as Rush Jaw made a set of machined aluminum muffler hangers/peg mounts for the Valkyrie. Blondie's Tourer proudly wears a set of these...albeit chromed.

john just said the interstate pegs the long style are non-removable I know a friend of mine has a 97 and his are non-removable but I just bought a set from pinwall last week that are the I/S long model and they unbolt and ijust  sent the brackets without the round mounts and pegs to classic components a VRCC vendor on the vendor page to have the brackets chromed they quoted me 50.00 plus return shipping minus 5% club discount  I did just look at the pictures of the ebay listing for the I/S pegs they have for sale and that pair is a one piece set that does not unbolt like the set I bought last week so I guess they wont come loose like yours are doing

The Honda OEM I/S exhaust hangers were two-piece and were black. The HondaLINE accessory for the I/S was one piece and chromed. This was what Pinwall had listed for auction.

I used to have the part number for that hanger set around here somewhere.

ETA:

Set for a Standard/Tourer is  HL-08F81-MBY-100. Still looking for the I/S version.

According to the Honda Genuine Accessories book for the Valkyrie, The chrome brackets are the same used on all models.  They list a number for it on the page showing the bracket as 6102065.  The actual Honda part number is 08F81-MBY-100.
The alternative is to have the set on your bike chromed.
Find one of these books somewhere.  They are invaluable as they show pics and descriptions of all accessories for the Valk.  There is a listing for one for sale in the other section (mine).  Check it out.
