i got new tires.....Sherry just ordered a new Tourmaster jacket...

...for our trip next week. I convinced her the way to go would be to get a mesh jacket to wear during the long ride. she was going to wear her Cortech levi jacket....but i told her that would be pretty darn hot during the day in July! She looked at a Cortech ladies model (LXR i think?)....but she wound up ordering the same model i got (the air intake 2) by Tourmaster ....when she found out they had ladies sizes. 

This weekend i'll recheck tire pressures, wash and lemon pledge/polish the bikes, check a few things here and there on the bikes....and.....start packin'.

Between the new mesh jackets and the new Clearview windshields with vents.....i think the ride will be tolerable as far as heat goes. If it gets too hot, we'll just divert up into the mountains at a higher altitude. The BlueRidge this time of year can still be pretty cool up above 4-5000 feet......

the Tourmaster mesh jacket is a good one.  I just wished I would not have ordered the black one....I am now looking for a light silver mesh jacket and silver helmet....too hot down here to wear black

she got the silver one like i got. you're right...black gets mighty hot down here in the South....or anywhere when it's hot outside!

I like the Tourmaster mesh silver and black, the only color other than the black that had the tall sizes.
