No kidding, I told Joanne I'm going to sell the Valk and buy an airboat. I'm going to need hip boots just to get to the bird feeder.

So Jeff, did you finally make the transistion back to the so-called Sunshine State? Where did you end up? As for the rain, I'm sick of it, and some new sod I laid down a couple weeks ago is dying off...too much moisture. It's Seville grass and made to thrive in sun or shade, but doesn't like all this water. Nothing I like better than a big dead spot in the yard that I'll have to pull up and spend another chunk of dollars on again.

lol...do we even need to post a list of quotes from great republican orators like Bush, Cheney, Palin. Romney, Quayle, Falwell. Robertson, Larry "wide stance" Craig, Bolton, Delay, Gingrich, Limbaugh, Sanford, Steele, and on and on...it would be too easy and really no contest.

Sanford: "I lay it out. It's gonna hurt. And we'll let the chips fall where they may." ... "I've been unfaithful to my wife."

Clinton:  "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms Lewinsky."

I would like to post a reply, but quite frankly I'm still rolling in the floor laughing at [Larry "wide stance" Craig]!  Until now, I was completely unaware that Larry will go down in infamy as being the reason "wide stance" is now part of the English lexicon, and a euphemism for a "closeted homosexual".

Glad you preceeded with the "LOL."  When it comes to politics, I'm all for it. Keeps life from getting boring. I used to have a lot of fun with an elderly lady across the street....a "dyed in the wool democrat." She was 90 when she passed away, spent her youth in foreign service with our gov't. embassies in India, China, Russia...all over the world. Fascinating woman to talk to. I got her goat real good one day when she was lauding Clinton after his under-the-desk escapade, then reminded me of Nixon and Watergate. I just told her the big difference between the Jackasses and the Elephants is the Elephants got caught....referring to Watergate. Took her a week to get over that.

Oh...almost forgot about our boy Larry. I've been chuckling over that since "back when." Wonder if he and liver lips Blarney Frank ever served on a committee together. Guess closed door sessions became more popular.....oh, gotta quit.  Grin
