yesterday noticed a few drops of brake fluid under the clutch housing of the lady, the clutch resv was a bit low as well. The clutch cover bolts were about 1/2 turn loose all the way around.,the question is would this cause the leak or should I think about replacing the slave cylinder for the clutch? It is the original clutch and works great and I assume slave is original as well.It has never been low before and the fluid is flushed everyother year.Any input from you  is welcome.

You might send a PM to Squealy.  He just had a similar ordeal.  See this thread.

It really shouldn't leak, unless, its loose enough to put enough side stress on it to allow fluid past the the seal. I think I would just tighten it up, add fluid if needed, maybe bleed it and then run it to see what happens.

If the clutch cover (housing) were loose, you would be seeing motor oil, not brake fluid.

I'd imagine he was referring to the clutch master cylinder cover...different animal.

Just a guess.
