First time I've saw this on The Dragon a church group from near Memphis was handin' out Sweet Tea and Lemonade. Nice folks and I enjoyed talking about the Lord and motorcycle's with them .They said Blount County Sheriff Patrol  came by and told them they could do this today only.

I love this road when you can hammer on it without all the Harley's and crotch rocket's. Week days no doubt are the best time to ride The Dragon .

Hey Joe, I am bringing the church group back third week of August, you and Gordon want to take us on another adventure? You guys are now legends to them and I am sure they would look forward to round 2.

Sure Brian ...Would y'all like to ride up to The Highlands to check out Dry Falls and  Bridal Veil Falls ? It's a beautiful area and the roads are made for the art of motorcycling .Picture below is Ron ( Normandog ) inside Dry Falls.

Joe,

Is that the Honda shop beside the Knoxville airport?  I usually frequent them when I am down that way.

Check out this weeks www.killboy.com he makes a comment about this same trucking company.I drive for a living myself and Swift has the slowest trucks and some of the worse drivers on the road. Thank's  for pointing me to the video .Picture taken from the front page of this weeks Killboy " Highlights "

My daughter and her X use to drive for Swift. Company rigs were governored at 62 mph. She said swift stood for ;sure wished I'ld finished training. Not to may daddys can say their little girl pulled a 53' box trailer coast to coast. Yet  I balked at her pulling my 16 boat trailer. Boy did she let me have it. Retired now to a housewife gig.

I used to own a 200" wb freight shaker wrecker. towed more junk up and down east coast than I carre to remember. Never took the little roads cuz, well, you saw it. Little roads will kill someone if they arent paying attention...and I would hated to have that on my conscience for ever...sold it bought another bike.....Cheesy

Duffy and I followed a rig like that on hwy 28 between Franklin and Highlands N.C.  It was one of the scariest things I've seen since I stared riding.  I thought sure I was going to see someone crash right before my eyes and there was nothing I could do about it.

A very helpless and frustrating feeling tickedoff
