My wife's grandmother is having her 90th birthday party tomorrow.  Last year, I gave her a Valkyrie ride to her 89th birthday party.  This year, I am doing the same thing, but would like a group to ride along.  It would be a VERY short ride, just ~15 minutes worth inside Lakeway (not willing to take her out on 620).  Is anyone up for joining us?
I know it's short notice, and I apologize for that, but:
Arrive at her house at ~11 AM, KSU 11:20.  ~15 minutes riding sedately through Lakeway, then arrive at her party.  Anyone who comes along is welcome to join us for lunch.  PM me, and I'll respond with the address.  (Phone numbers would be appreciated.)
I know it's not a "real ride", as it is going to be very short, and hardly over 30, but it would make a great lady VERY happy to be a part of a group ride.

Hey Mark, thanks for the invite!  Wish I could've made the ride, but as you know I already had other commitments.  (Maybe NASA is already working on being in two places at once...that could solve a lot of issues!)  The Facebook pics looked like a big time was had by all!

We did have a grand time.  TXDeb rode down.  She keeps making progress as a solo rider, and hit 620 by herself for a while.  I met her at 620 and 2222 on the way in to escort her the rest of the way, but did a great job all the way through, and was confident enough to decline an offer of an escort back home.
In the picture are the participants in the ride:  Me, the birthday girl (90 yrs old, still riding on the back of motorcycles and chasing great-grandchildren around the house), TXDeb, and the birthday girl's son.  TXDeb rode her Shadow, Stephanie's uncle rode his HD, and Stephanie's grandmother and I were on my Valkyrie.  We got about 20 minutes worth tooling around Lakeway, passing the lake, then the airport (a cool small-town airport where the side street passes ~20 yards from the flight line), and finally on to a lot of home cooked Mexican food.

So where's the 90 year old?   If that is her to your left, man she looks very young for her age.

Congrats on her 90th!!!

Looks like all of y'all had a blast.

She IS doing quite well for 90.
She spent the entire ride telling me how much fun she was having.  At one point, she said "My friends tell me I'm crazy for riding motorcycles.  I tell them they're crazy for not trying it."

I told her that next year for her birthday, I was taking her on a ride to Sturgis.  She didn't seem concerned about the long trip, but she did say she would decline to get drunk and take her clothes off.  (:
