I am shopping for front rotors for my 2001 Interstate and I know there is a lot of talk about the Goldwing rotors fitting the Valkyries and they are cheaper.  Everywhere I have looked the front rotors for the Goldwing are about $250/each ($500 for the pair) and HDL has the Valkyrie fronts for $170 each ($340 for pair).  Has anyone else seen any prices different than this?  Thanks in advance!

Don't recollect who but a couple months ago someone said that our Valkyrie rotors were now cheaper than the G/W rotors. RIDE SAFE.

I bought a set of I/S rotors about 4 mos. ago from my local dealer for about $164
a piece....so you're in the price range...they have gone down in price considerably....a year ago you could only get the right side and the left would always be back order...

I am one of those that put the Goldwing rotors on my IS.  3 years ago when I replaced them, they were $100 less than the Valks.  Now I hear that the Valks are cheaper.
The minimum thickness for the Valks is 1mm thicker than the Wing.  The Wing rotors are 1mm thinner, but they stop a 800 lb Wing and I figured they would stop my 800 lb Valk.

Buy the Valk rotors.

I have a buddy of mine that got some rotors for his Valkyrie from this seller on Ebay so I decided to try a pair.  I got them for $219 to my door.  He has great feedback and apparently makes a lot of rotors for all makes and models.  I am in no way affiliated with this business.  Here is a link to his Ebay listing:

Will post my comments after install and some riding history.
