Two months ago I bought a 1997 Valkyrie from Storm Lake Honda, in Storm Lake, IA. The bike had after market air shocks on it. Last week the right shock stared leaking oil, I called the dealer and he told me to bring it on over and he would look at it. When I took it over Tues. Larry  Schultz, the owner, told me not a problem and put a new pair of take off shocks from a vtx on. Not only does the bike ride better I no longer feel the heavynes in the front end. I have own many different bikes thru the years but have never had a dealer treat me as great as Larry did. Oh, all of this at no cost to me.

Larry not only sounds like a nice guy but also a smart business man. Your gonna have that Valkyrie for awhile and chances are he's going to get your business in the future. Too bad there isn't a Larry running a Honda dealership near me.  Embarrassed

Mr Schultz is a top notch dealer, and also a fairly good mechanic........

Who's old 97 did you get?

If you can get away, our monthly ride is the 11th, tomorrow, and starts in Ankeny @ Casey's by Karl Chevrolet, kick stands up at 8:00 AM.  Come on down and join us for a good ride and some good eats.

Well, forget the coming down tomorrow.   You'd have to come today since ya live in Spencer.

Thanks for the reply. It belonged to Lee from Storm Lake. He traded it in for a new Goldwing, I think.
