I have a 1997 with one of Bill Bushling's blowers.  Bike went from super fun to crazy fun.  Problem is the clutch will slip when the boost comes on hard in 3rd gear or higher.  Will just lite the tire up when it comes on in 2nd.  Anyone know how to beef up the clutch springs, replace the springs with something else or add second set inside first set??
Thanks,

the clutch spring is really just a beveled piece of spring steel . not sure how you could beef it up .

I've hear of others with blowers have stacked two clutch springs. I don't have any details but I suppose that the "stack height" must be the same as the original so a fiber or steel plate might have to go. I have a Standard blower bike but I didn't build it and I'm the second owner. The clutch is solid in all gears and the handle pull on the clutch is the same as my Interstate. Maybe the clutch needs just be be rebuilt?
