I am in need of a new (used) radiator. Mine has seen better days, the over flow nipple broke off, and I have a leak........whine, bitch, blah blah Wink......

I saw a couple on ebay that were pretty rough, anyone have a lead on some elsewhere?

Thanks for the help..........

Is there any reason a rad shop could not fix it? The used parts place I use is Pinwall Cycle Parts. I found them in Ebay. They have a store in Ebay that has their phone number. You can call them, and get what you need cooldude

I have seen a few threads about the problems with trying to fix that overflow nipple, and nobody really had good answers about it......one of those F* it moments and start with new?

Tried twice to fix/repair the radiator on the Phatt Ghurl.  Lips Sealed Bit the bullet and went new.  Cry A tad spendy BUT it is FIXED now-no letdowns in B F E.  cooldude And I still have the old radiator that a friend assured me is now"fixed".  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

HERE is JaysGone's saga of attempting to repair the overflow nipple (this link in case you missed the first one).  After reading all the posts, you will probably want to simply replace the radiator.  Sorry no help on your original question except that HDL wants $553.49 for a new one.

The link listed above is very similar to my own adventure with this pain in the ass part. not a good fix no matter who I talk to . It actually broke while I was in Sturgis 600+ miles away from home. I didn't go to the extremes of boring out bolts like the original poster did, but I tried every concoction out there for repair. I would buy a used one if I could find one not all beat to hell! and New -$500 plus..ouch. It is my baby and I will fork over the dough to make her right again, just thought I would try to use a few connections here before I went elsewhere.........

I'd try the radiator shop, too.  A good one can fix things I would only make worse.
