Just dropping in to say "Howdy".  My name is James, but I also go by Bugs. I ride a '97 Tourer (Red/White) that I purchased in '99. I'm usually on the VRCC national forum and also the Delphi Valkyrie Forum.  Valk owner's from my area are few and far between. (At least I haven't seen very many.)  I would really enjoy getting together with some Valk enthusiast for a Lunch or Supper Run.... or just some tire kickin and a coke.   I've never had the pleasure of riding with a group of Valkyrie's. That would be an awesome sight.

If anyone in the Lubbock area would be interested in getting together, please give me a holler. I'd love to meet ya.
Y'all take care and ride safe.
James.... (Bugs)

Hey back. If I remember right, I met ya in Ruidoso in Oct. of 01. I was with DW. He moved to Lovington from Houston. He has a blue/white I/S and I have a black I/S. Nice to hear from ya. If your down here in the Houston area, give a shout.

Thanks for the invite. I'm actually on vacation this week, but sick as a dog. I caught what ever is going around last Thurdsay, and I can't seem to kick it.

This format is a little different than what I'm used to, so I'm still learning.
I'm trying to figure out how to direct this reply to you. Or do I just include your quote in my message so you'll know it's to you?
Thanks for the welcome.

Hey! You've got a good memory. That trip was a lot of fun. I haven't taked to DW in a long time. Is he still in Lovington?

I'm trying to figure out how to insert an image with my message. I'm sure you'll get a kick out of the pic. Here's a link to it. Let me know if it works.

Welcome to the VRCC.  I ride with the VRCC group, but live about 60-70 miles north of Dallas.  If you're ever in the area, let us know, and we will try to get a group together and ride with you or maybe we could meet you half way somewhere.

Thanks for the welcome and the invite. I wish I had more opportunities to travel. My odd work schedule and limited funds kind of keeps me close to home. Hopefully, that will improve next year.

That was a good time. DW is back in Texas in the Livingston area. I don't get to see him that often either. We still get together for our annual trip in April. We still have a few that hook up with us from that area and from Lubbock. We meet up in the Hill country for a long weekend of riding. You  should keep that in mind so you can join us. Usually the first or second weekend in April.

Hey Bugslayer,
We need to get together.  We are out of a small spot west of you in Melrose, NM.  We know quite a few of the Dallas folks, good people to stay in contact with.  You are right, you are in no mans land.  We've got kind of a rag tag crew out this way, but would be willing to get together with you on a ride or meet you half way for coffee or something.  You can reach me at 5757605445.  Give me a call sometime.

There is an offer I would not let get too cool, James. Don is (about) as good as any Texas Valker! ~Jeff

I honestly hate letting any of these generous offers "get cool". If it were up to me, I'd hit the road today and visit every one of em.  But it will probably have to wait until Spring. I'm looking forward to it!
