The Drink Butler drink mug comes with a mount to put it on the handlebar controls. It available in 2 sizes and uses a straw for drinking, so no tipping and ruining vision. You can find it at most MC accessory shops.

There are several choice's in regards to cup holders. Here's what I use. It'll hold anything from a can to a Big Gulp. The only thing I don't like about it is the drink kinda bounce's a little over big bumps. Other than that, it works great. And it's outta the way when I'm not using it.

I got one from a member and I believe he got it at a Wing place. It mounts on the clutch side where the 2 bolts are. It folds down and viola! cup holder. Adjustable fingers for the diff size cups. Best I've seen. Had the swivel bouyie thing but fell off on way home from HSRI and I said f- it. Never turned back for it.

Take a look at this one........I have used it on a couple different bikes and does a good job. Just give them a call and tell them you want to install it on a Valk.

I modified a bike bottle holder (cut down slightly) & mounted near the radio controls on my Interstate; works great...& I liked the price (everything was collecting dust in the garage).

I was at wal-mart today and in the RV/boating section they had the same cup holder for $5. All you need to do is make a mount for it and its the same as spending more money for the exact one.

Now Ive seen everything...... Shocked
Who needs to drink anything while riding a motorbike?
Next thing we will be taking mobile calls and faxes, while watching tv.
I guess your roads are better than the goat tracks we have over here because Im not game to take my hands off the bars in case one of the craters, we call pot holes, rips the bloody things out of my grip. Wink
We usually stop, have a drink and a chat, and get going again. Gives the posterior a bit of a break as well....

Yesterday I watch the rider in front of me, apparently suffering from dehydration, not make the 90 degree left turn. Shocked I think that makes a drink holder or some way of drinking water while riding number 1 on my list of things to do this week before leaving for Frisco.

Fortunatly, Smiley she was not hurt to bad, missed the barbed wire fence and power pole by inches. She was check out by the EMT guys and rehydrated. We pulled the Valk out of the weeds, took of the broken stuff, checked it over and the now hydrated rider climbs back on and we continued our ride. Tough gal.

I'm going to be drinkin' and ridin' .......water that is. cooldude

Dude - I've got to have my morning coffee ... even with the Canyons (aka Potholes) left over from Michigan spring thaws.

I second that Bogator!

I bought me this one earlier this year and I love it.  It has two foam inserts to interchange for a soda can to a 20oz bottle.  A sonic route 44 cup will fit the bottom of the cup in the holder and boy do you get looks from your friends.  They can't believe you are going to take your drink with you!!   It's awesome and goes really well w/ my Nolan flip-up helmet.   cooldude

+1 for the "Universal Kruzer Kaddy" It's Chrome, nice chrome handlebar mount. Will fit both 7/8" and 1" handlebars  cooldude This comes with two foam inserts to accomodate differant size drinks. I only carry water in Florida (hydration) I can refill or carry extra frozen bottles in a soft side cooler in the saddlebag. It works well, and has a quick disconect. I personaly think it's easier on the eyes than some of the options out there. HDL sells these, part #kru-200 $39.95

Looks good SMS  cooldude

I am on a mission to find a cup that will keep the liquid inside cold and have a seal proof straw so that it doesn't spill in the holder from vibration.  I have narrowed my choices down to the Camelbak http://www.camelbak.com/sports-recreation/bottles/better-bottle-75L.aspx  or  http://www.trudeaucorp.com/us/products/hydration/types/insulated-single-wall/p-spritzer-0871290.html or I found this one at Dick's Sporting Goods this morning: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3170004

I am not sure if they will fit, I need to the Kruzer Caddy into the store with me and see which one will fit.  I just don't like the obstruction to the road when you tip a water bottle or any other contain in front of you while riding.  I also don't like using a "sonic" cup because it splatters on the lid and if you have lemonade or anything that can become sticky will get all over you and the bike.  So these cups have a flexible straw that goes all the way down to the bottom of the cup and will not spill..  You might check them out.

anyhow... Your cup holder looks good, nice choice.   I'll keep you posted on which one works.

I've had the Chrome Kruzer Caddy, but prefer my Barefooot Willie's as it doesn't swing around http://www.barefootwillies.com/bfw/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34&products_id=180&zenid=b11c79ace9bdc2b96ba149fcf47267d2
