Many thanks to Mark & Ron for leading the group for the last two years and contributing for longer than that.

Although I wasn't here yet to enjoy their tenures, I'd also like to thank Flyboy & Ten Bears for their prior service and for starting and caring for the group.

I also want to thank the late Joe Boyd for spearheading the conception, development, and production of one of the pinnacles of motorcycle art and science and one of the coolest motorcycles that will ever be, the Honda Valkyrie / F6 Custom.  It's our collective appreciation for his baby that has brought such an interesting group of people together.

Thanks to all of you for allowing Speedo and me to lead the club.  It was fun.

I personally am looking forward to riding in the pack and being a VRCC member.

I am excited about Dave and Jim taking the leadership of the club and making it better.  New ideas, new perspectives are always good and will revitalize the group.  The future is bright.

So, let's end this thread and start working on the "ideas" thread that Dave posted.  Have a favorite place to ride? Volunteer to lead a ride so we all can enjoy it.  Need to work on your Valk and need some help? Set up a wrench party at your place.  Know of a great place to eat in the area with great service and motorcycle friendly?  Volunteer to set up one of the monthly meetings.  There are a lot of ways that all of us can contribute and lessen the load on Dave and Jim.
