A Friend had to re-build his 1985 year VF1100S V65 Magna and can't find the crank bearings (needs 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 brown.) He also needs rod bearings.

Anybody know where to locate these?

Thanks lots, we want to get him back on the road so I can spank him on my Valk.

Any bearing supply house should have those. If he gets it running correctly, a V65 should be almost two seconds faster in the 1/4 mile than a good running Valk. He won't be the spankee!

I had a v65 sabre before the valk.  The valk handles better, but you get that v65 in a straight line, you better be ready to hang on.

That v65 magna was the fastest production bike for 5 years IIRC.

Had one myself. Don't look as fast as the valk but would leave it in the dust

It looks like a lot of us had V65s.  I had a Sabre the first year it was available.  It was the most powerful bike I've owned.  Very, very fast.

But as already mentioned, the handling was lousy.  And the top ends (at least on the early ones) were a weak spot.  My cams pitted badly and were replaced twice under warranty.  I'd never heard of bottom end problems but it sounds like SParky's friend has them.
