03 model. I went to gas up the other day, bike started fine as always. After fueling up it started turning over and just stopped as if you turned the key off. Hit the button again and it drug a little and started. This continued the rest of the day. Cranking perfect at times and shutting off at times.
I researched several topics on here and cleaned ALL the connections on both ends of both battery cables. Blew out kill switch and wd40ed it. Checked silonoid behind right side cover{it looked great}. Still same thing. Checked fuses .Good starts and bad starts.
Then i rememberd reading a topic where someone was having a problem cranking when high beam was on so i went out to see if mine was on high. What i found was the light switch was halfway between low and high. Turned switch to low beam and have not had a bad start  since. Do yall think the high/low beam switch could have caused this.
I'm askin because i plan on goin out of town next week and want to fix whats wrong if this could not have been problem.

Clean up that hi-lo switch, you may have had both on at the same time. That would have slowed that starter down.   Hoser  Shocked
