lights on ? if not check start relay behind the right side cover and the wires connected to it,if you have lights its probably the start switch . Try holding the start button and rocking the on /off switch at the same time

Will it push start?  If so, just ride home without shutting down the motor.  You can gas it with the engine running.  Recruit a pusher and start it in second gear.  I had to do that last year for 600 miles.  It starts real easy.  If you are on a little slope just coast it down the hill.  If you get within a hundred miles or so I can retrieve you with a trailer.  I'm assuming you are headed east.  It would take me all night to get to Oakley. I am in Topeka.  .  Hoser

Seen the good news, ride on brother.  Hoser

Is this the trip where you are coming to St. Louis?  If so, you can come to my house and we can try clean up the switch or do whatever is necessary. You can also spend the night at the house. Let me know if you need anything in this area.  Gary  314 398 8227

While broke down, I stayed the night at the Kansas Kountry Hotel. The elderly gal checking me in looked out front and said, "vehicle.. Harley". She looked up at me to see my distaste, and smiled a smile that she used 50 years earlier as a shy school girl and said, "I know it's a Valkyrie, my son has one".

I don't know which made my day.. her smile or the fact that she knew it was a Valkyrie.  Smiley
