I've seen a picture of a nice looking gauge package on the home page once in a while. It looks like it fits between the OEM gauges and has a clock, oil pressure and temperature gauge. Can anyone give me more details on this package and a lead on where I can buy one?

Yep, most get Motosens, as they were pretty much designed to be used with a Valk. They offer a 10% discount to VRCC members... just ask for it. I have had two sets... a set on my since sold Standard and now on my Interstate. I can vouch for the quality and good-looks of these gauges. www.motosens.comhttp://www.valkyrieguy.com/motosens.htm

This post got me thinking. Had heard Motosens was good so today I ordered the "flat" oil and coolant temp gauges and sending units and also the Valk wiring harness because I'll probably go for the oil temp later. They don't cahrge you when you place the order, seems they calculate shipping and then invoice you before they ship. Glad I came back to this post because now I know to ask for the VRCC discount. This place never ceases to amaze me.

Thanks guys. Those are some nice looking gauges. Not the ones I was referring to, but nice anyway. I'll check out Motosens.

all I wanted was a volt meter to keep an eye on the battery and alternator...........the dash is home made, the gauge is from Overtons boating supply

Is there a estimate of cost for whole kit ?
Would rather get everything from motosens then to shop around for relays etc from different sources.
I emailed them their USA Canada LEg, because price sheets seemed in a language I had no clue of.
Is there really A Kit ? for temp volts oil press and oil temp, brackets , wires etc etc?

My gauges are Autometer, I used them because I considered them disposable and wouldn't break the bank. They cost me about $80 for the three gauges with the sending units and the cups were extra. At the time I figured the gauged were not designed to be in the elements and would go bad. They have been on the bike for 6 years with no issues and I picked them up at my local auto speed shop. They were a nice match and everybody thought they were OEM and went to the Honda shop to buy some before they asked me where I got them. I thought they were the best bang for the buck !! Dan

I didn't purchase there wire harness, made my own , easy with basic wire knowledge.....

http://www.motosens.com/index.htmMake sure you are at the home page then select the country that you want pricing in by clicking the appropriate flag for the area of the world that you are in. If you click the US flag you can get a pricelist in US dollars versus Euros in the European section. Once in the appropriate site you can get a product list etc. If you go to the F6 section there are Valk specific kits available for adaptors, wiring etc., you will have to pick the style of gauge that you want, whether it be electronic or classic style (analog), the face colour and finish, the cup style and the lighting colour. You can download the order form in PDF or give them a call in Lethbridge and talk to them. I didn't get a response from the Honda dealer down there (listed as a contact on international site) but did talk to Systron and they had stock on hand.
