The story is simple.  When a friend ordered a chrome rear wheel, it came without the plate, bearings, or spacer.  The bike was the 93 featured in Woody's fairing advertisement flyer.  It is a beautiful black & chrome, but it sure cost a lot.  Sure glad that I was only turning the wrenches in that one...Jim

Re. Pharmboy's post: I ended up with the wheels the chrome's replaced(as I understand it anyway). I'm using the wheels on my GL1200 project, along with Valk forks, tank, brakes, final drive flange(fits the 1200 final)....all kinds of stuff. Guess it's gonna be a 4-cylinder Valk. Eventually!  Grin
