I've seen that one before.  Looks like he's having a hard time moving it.

OMG!

Dupont Chromalusion Paint

All Chromalusion colors are priced the same. We have the ability to mix these formulas on site in quantities as small as 2 fluid ounces. The price is $33.99 per ounce, $435.95 per pint, or $822.69 per quart. uglystupid2

I've always thought the concept was cool, but the colors are kind of ugly!

I'm guessing that "chromalusion" stuff refracts light kinda' like a prism? ???

$4500 bucks could be a sreamin' deal - especially with the add ons - even if the main color were rust! Shocked

Where the heck is Corinth, anyway?

i would go!  only the first 800 miles or so would be in unbearable heat, i think that makes the remaining trip a blessed cool bargain!

i don't know what it is about this summer... i've been able to ride through summers just fine since i got the bike, but this one is doing me in.  i hate parking and removing my helmet only to have the pervading feeling be "that wasn't fun."  maybe if i install a dunk tank in my garage so i can cool off when i get home it'll be more fun?

I decided the other day since I have invested so much in heated clothes so I can ride all winter I could invest some for staying cool in summer.  I bought Mary and I these vests;

I bought the silver one and Mary bought the blue one (the blue one cools slower   2funny)

I also bought us some of these;

Soak it in water, plop it on top of your head and put your helmet on.  I haven't been on any long rides yet to test but commuting home from work is much cooler and more comfortable now.

I am thinking about getting these wrist coolers also, not only would it help during riding, Mary could wear them to keep her MS symptoms under control on hot days.

It is strange to feel "cool" when the temperature is in the mid 90's uglystupid2
After about 1pm a thirty minute ride will just wear you out!

Anyway, the only reason I would consider that bike in Maine is this goofy idea of mine to try and find a deal on a Valkyrie in order to "customize" it.  I'd like to keep my '98 Standard...er, well...standard.  The one in Maine fits that mold except that it is in Maine!
